Chicago has crime, but is Rarely seen in the downtown area and is not as bad as rio. Chicago has more convention space than any other city except for Las Vegas. More than double the amount of hotel space required by the IOC and at a lesser price than the other candiate cities.It has made a 2.5 billion dollar guarentee for the games, it needs to be noted that NO american city has ever lost money for an olympic games. Chicago is home to dining, sports, culture, music, and pride. I think it will make a fantastic city to host.
